Has anyone taken the tour European Tapestry? If so, I would love to hear your review of it. It's one of 3 tours we're deciding between for September. Will be making reservations in the next couple of days if that's what we decide to do.

We went on the European Tapestry tour about four years ago (we've taken five OU tours). The tour was excellent and among the best things we saw or did were the Kinderdijt windmills and the days in Bruges. I would add that we went during tulip season and recommend that you go then, rather than in September, as Keukenhof garden was spectacular.

We did ET in July, 2015 and thought it was a wonderful tour. There were so many diverse and memorable experiences. We went in to Amsterdam a day ahead and also did the Paris extension. If you have any interest in the Anne Frank house, you will want to book your time a few months out. I would be happy to try and answer any questions you might have.

We took the European Tapestry tour in 2018 (April 27-May9) and loved it. We especially liked Bruges but the entire experience was great. I recommend going there in the spring to see the tulips at Keukenhof Gardens. It was spectacular! Maybe go to your other choice this year and do this next spring? We did the Paris extension and stayed an additional 2 nights so that we ended up with 4 nights in Paris. We’ve been to Paris before and it’s one of our favorite cities so you can never have enough time there. Our tour guide was Ingrid van Mil and she was fantastic. No matter which tour you end up doing, you will have a great time. We’ve only taken 3 tours with Odyssey’s so far but plan on many more!

Thanks for all the feedback. As nice as it would have been to see the tulips, we decided to stick with our original plan of going in September. We also have been to Paris before, so on our last full tour day instead of a bus tour of Paris and a half day on our own, I've arranged to surprise my husband with a day trip (a long day!) to the beaches of Normandy. It is someplace he has always wanted to visit, so I figured "why not". I'm looking forward to the whole trip.

Don't know how your trip stands at this point, but let me make another plug for tulip season. We took this trip in 2019 and it was great. I loved every part of it, especially Keukenhof, Bruges, Ghent, traveling across France into the Champagne region. We took the extension in Paris. It was my first trip to Paris, and I have to say I was not a fan compared to everything else we saw, but I was glad we took the extension so we could see additional sights. Have to go back to see the museums, though

We're still scheduled for the September 3rd tour . However, I'm pretty certain that we are going to cancel and reschedule for tulip season in Spring 2021 We can't wait to travel again with OU. Stay safe everyone!
