Hi Linda, Our apologies for the delay in responding - your question slipped by us. For travel to Ireland from Atlanta, we will most likely be using a combination of Star Alliance and SkyTeam airfare partners. Guests are typically routed from Atlanta (ATL) through New York (JFK) or Newark (EWR) en route to Dublin (DUB). Please note that we prepare airline schedules 2 1/2 months prior to departure (we will send you a preliminary flight schedule at that time). Carriers, routing and flight times are subject to change up until then. Should you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service department by email: customerservice@odysseys-unlimited.com or toll-free at (888) 370-6765.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on the Enchanting Ireland small group tour.

Even though Delta flies non-stop from Atlanta to Dublin, I would still get routed through JFK or EWR? Hmmmm. And I think Delta is a SkyTeam carrier. That seems curious to me. Thanks.

Hi Linda, We understand your concern about the flights ... by way of explanation, as we work with tour operator contracts with our partner airlines, we are able to pass along an excellent value to our guests; however, these contracts also come with restrictions in regard to the flights we are able to book. We do our best to obtain the most direct routing within the limitations of these contracts. Please know that we do offer a “land only” option for all of our tours, in the event that you might prefer to make your own air arrangements. Again, please don't hesitate to contact you if we can be of further assistance.

Well, I did it! I booked the Ireland trip for this summer. I booked my own air. I truly am looking forward to this trip. I was wondering, Odysseys Moderator, would it be possible for me to book a separate day trip on my own from Killarney to do the Dingle Peninsula on the day the group does the jaunting cart and Muckross House. In other words, I would give up that day from your itinerary and pay for my own separate trip to the Dingle. It's just that I've always wanted to see the Dingle Peninsula! Thanks.

Hi Linda B., We're delighted that you'll be joining us in Ireland this summer! In answer to your question, it should not be a problem for you to go off on your own in Killarney on Day 8 to visit the Dingle Peninsula. You'll miss a nice excursion to Ross Castle and Muckross House, but if you've always wanted to see Dingle then you should go for it. You might want to discuss this with your Tour Director early in the trip so you can make arrangements ahead of time, if necessary. We wish you an enchanted journey to Ireland!

The trip looks wonderful. I was wondering what the included breakfasts are like - Full Buffet or continental only? Thanks in advance.

I took this trip in May, 2015 and it was great! Breakfast was served in the hotel dining rooms. There was usually a buffet but you could also order off a menu. The buffets varied in size, but if you wanted to get something quickly, you could. In Dublin, the buffet was extensive. Trust me, you won't just get a roll and coffee! I hope you enjoy the trip as much as we did. All the hotels were centrally located and very nice.
